In Indonesia bronze objects were often used for rituals. This offering tray held ceremonial objects, such as a vajra (thunderbolt), bells, and mirrors, as well as oblations of flowers and fruit. The two stylized figures and the bull embody supernatural qualities. The design is embellished with birds and other animals in the borders.
