Kleurtekening van de bamboe noodkraal waar Singalezen de olifanten opvangen en een tuig aanbinden. De olifanten zijn hier uit de kraal gehaald en worden verder ingebonden. Nr. 9 in serie. Zelfde tafereel als nr. 8 maar dan van voren. Met opschrift. Onderdeel uit het schetsboek van Jan Brandes, dl. 2 (1808), p. 128.
