Landschap met op de voorgrond de doop van Christus in de Jordaan. Op de achtergrond predikt Johannes de Doper op een open plek in een bos. Boven in de lucht God de Vader die de Heilige Geest (een duif) naar de aarde stuurt. De prent is deel van een serie van landschappen met christelijke verhalen als thema.
