Description

Het visioen van de heilige Anna (allegorie van de onbevlekte ontvangenis). De geknielde Anna ziet hoe Maria in een wolk door engelen naar de hemel wordt gedragen waar zij met uitgestrekte armen door Christus wordt opgewacht. Achter Anna knielt haar man Joachim met gevouwen handen. Voorstudie voor het 1759 gedateerde altaarstuk in de klooster van Santa Chiara in Cividale, tegenwoordig in het museum te Dresden.
