3. Will I be refunded for a pre-booked ticket for entrance to the museum in the period 13 March to 1 June?

We are offering everyone with a pre-booked ticket for this period the opportunity to visit the museum on another day in 2020. Your ticket will remain valid until the end of the year 2020.

4. Will events such as lectures, concerts, guided tours and workshops still go ahead?

All activities are cancelled until 1 June 2020.

5. Is RIJKS restaurant staying open?

RIJKS restaurant is closed until 1 June 2020.

Questions about tickets

Museum entrance tickets

If you have already bought an entrance ticket for a visit to the Rijksmuseum in the period until 1 June 2020, this ticket will remain valid for the remainder of 2020.

If it is not possible for you to visit the Rijksmuseum on another day in this calendar year, we will refund your ticket. To request a refund, please send an email containing the order number (and booking confirmation if you received one) to groepen@rijksmuseum.nl

If you booked through a travel agent or reseller, we advise you to contact the travel agent or reseller concerned.

Tickets for guided tours and workshops

If you have already booked a ticket for a Rijksmuseum guided tour, workshop or other activity scheduled in the period from 13 March until 1 June, you will automatically receive a refund.

At the present time it is uncertain whether these activities will be rescheduled for later this year. We will of course let you know as soon as we have any new information.

Group tickets

If you have booked for a group visit to the Rijksmuseum in the period until 1 June 2020, you can rebook for another day in this calendar year free of charge.

If you are unable to come on another day in this calendar year, we will refund the ticket. To rebook the ticket or request a refund, please send an email containing the order number (and booking confirmation if you received one) to groepen@rijksmuseum.nl

Schools

All school activities have been cancelled until the end of this academic year. If you have already booked a ticket for a Rijksmuseum guided tour, workshop or other school activity scheduled in the period from 13 March until and including July 2020, you will automatically receive a refund.

The Rijksmuseum is making every effort to respond to your questions and requests as speedily as possible. Given the demands of the current situation it may take somewhat longer than you might normally expect. We thank you in advance for your understanding.

If you decide not to request a refund, it will be greatly appreciated. We thank you for your support.
