Explanatory note
Illustratie in de Nederlandse vertaling van de beschrijving van de intocht van Filips II in Antwerpen in 1549: De seer wonderlijcke schoone triumphelijcke incompst, van den hooghmogenden Prince Philips, Prince van Spaignen, Caroli des vijfden, Keysers sone : inde stadt van Antwerpen, Anno 1549. Tekst van Cornelius Grapheus, waarschijnlijk vertaald uit het Latijn door Gillis van Diest, opgedragen aan Filips II, uitgegeven met keizerlijke privilege door Pieter Coecke van Aelst, gedrukt door Gillis van Diest. Boek in de bibliotheek met signatuur: 325 B 12.
