Description
De collectie bevat 116 foto's en 17 fotomechanische afdrukken, gemaakt door professionele fotografen. Het gaat om 57 fotoreproducties van kunstwerken, 43 foto's van Abu Simbel, twintig topografische foto's van Italië en veertien Photochromafdrukken van Constantinopel. Zeven van de topografische foto's zitten in een enveloppe van de fotograaf Francesco Pineider. De meeste objecten hebben het stempel van Van Schendel ('AFE v S') en handgeschreven notities op verso. Er zitten ook enkele bladen met aantekeningen en correspondentie bij.
