De acteur Ichikawaw Danjûrô VII (1791-1859) in het toneelstuk Shibaraku, terwijl hij door een papieren muur stormt. Het gedicht bespreekt het moment waarop de hoofdrolspeler het huis binnen stormt en "Shibaraku!" (Wacht even!) roept, één van de sleutelwoorden van de voorstelling.
