Description

No. 2 uit serie van drie prenten met de verschillende stadia van toiletmaken anno 1810. De dame zit, in een wit onderkleed, met een boek in de hand, voor haar toiletspiegel. Haar kamermeisje staat achter haar met een pruik in de hand. Op de tafel links verschillende karaffen met schoonheidsmiddelen. Kleren en een muziekboek op de grond. Op de stoel een luifelhoed. Aan de muur een open boekenkastje; sleutel in deurtje. Op de prent wordt vermeld dat de tekening van een amateur is.
