Description
Landschap met gezicht in vogelvlucht van de loop van de rivier de Schelde naar de stad Antwerpen. Op de voorgrond vaart de Britse vloot in augustus 1809 voorbij Fort Bath de Schelde op richting Antwerpen, halverwege is tussen Fort Lillo en Liefkenshoek een ketting over de rivier gespannen, achter de ketting ligt de Franse vloot. In de verte de stad Antwerpen waarvoor een achttal Franse schepen liggen. Titel en opschriften in het Engels.
